KINKINETICS

KinKinetics at NASA HRP 2024

A Remarkable Experience in Advancing Space Research

Space Expo at Farnborough

The NASA Human Research Program (HRP) Conference 2024 was an extraordinary gathering of some of the most brilliant minds in space research, and KinKinetics was honored to be a part of it. Presenting our poster at this prestigious event was not just a milestone for our journey but also a moment of validation for the work we’ve been doing to support human adaptation and well-being in extreme environments.

Emotional Intelligence and Age

The HRP conference brought together experts from diverse backgrounds, all dedicated to addressing the physiological and psychological challenges of long-duration spaceflight. Walking through the halls of groundbreaking research and innovation, we had the opportunity to interact with leading scientists, astronauts, engineers, and decision-makers in the space industry.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the event was engaging in deep discussions about  human factors in space exploration, decision-making under stress, and the integration of neuroeconomics into astronaut support systems—the very foundation of KinKinetics.

Our KinKinetics poster was among the exhibits that garnered significant attention. The concept of neuroeconomic-based decision support for long-duration missions resonated with many attendees, sparking insightful discussions on the practical applications of our technology.

We received invaluable feedback from researchers and industry experts, further refining our approach to integrating physiological and behavioral insights into real-time decision-making tools for space travelers. The enthusiasm and curiosity surrounding our work reinforced its importance and potential impact.

KinKinetics and Emotional Intelligence

Perhaps the most inspiring part of the conference was the chance to connect with visionaries and pioneers in human spaceflight research. From pre-award research managers to astronauts and behavioral scientists, each conversation opened doors to new ideas and potential collaborations.

A special highlight was discussing the possibilities of funding support, research partnerships, and opportunities to take KinKinetics to the next stage. We are excited about the future and grateful for the connections made during this event.

As we reflect on this incredible experience, one thing is clear—KinKinetics has an exciting path ahead. The insights gained from NASA HRP 2024 will shape our next steps, helping us refine our approach, improve our technology, and explore ways to contribute meaningfully to human adaptation in space and extreme environments.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who engaged with us, shared their expertise, and provided constructive feedback. The journey of KinKinetics is just beginning, and we are more motivated than ever to push forward.

Stay tuned for what’s next!
